Reading can be a great option for healing when you're grieving. It certainly helped me to escape to someone else's world for a bit.
I also learned one of my greatest lessons from a chapter of a book in my early days of grief. The book, Option B by Sheryl Sandberg (COO of Facebook and author of Lean In) and Adam Grant (professor at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, yay Philly!), outlined post-traumatic growth-- the idea that you could not only bounce back from your trauma, but that you could come back better than before. It was definitely a turning point in my grief journey and what led me to create So Sorry For Your Loss.
